I found this:

BoA's previous single album; ~brand new beat~/Your color. My first shock was the price; a whopping RM79.50!!! For TWO songs and ONE music video! As compared to her Outgrow full album which was only selling for RM65 (14 songs and FIVE music videos). Anyways, I turned the album around to see the back 'Your Color' art cover (The front only shows ~brand new beat~).

...and here it is. I then examined the funny foreign sticker there...

RATED PG?!? Parental Guidance????? BoA??? WTF???

This calls for research!
Here's the translated lyrics for Your Color:
Within this vast world,
I met you that day and fell in love.
Even though I thought that up until
nothing is really improving.

I'll tell you at the end of today's setting sun...
The times we spent together is passing by quickly.

Even during the times I'm unable to meet you,
my tears slowly flowed down.
Even up until now its been so painful on me,
<span style="color: rgb(51, 102, 255); And what better way to celebrate the return of my comeback than a good old review.

Today's review...a 1987 2.0LToyota Corona that belongs to our very own Boss. Due to the unique way GearShaft is funded we are not allowed to post real pictures of the car. But what we can tell you is that the car itself has been equipped with a carbon-fibre looking spoiler. However fear not as we do have a replacement.

Ah yes. A nice cold bottle of Corona with a lime wedge. Hits the spot. Now back to the review.

Now, an interior look into the Corona shows that it doenst differ much from any car during it's era. A few minor adjustments were made before setting off into the sunset including getting the car out of the garage.

So many of you might think what can a car like this offer? After a few rounds of continuous driving round the sleepy slope-like neighbourhood of QQ7*, Ern took over the wheel. Lots of Powerrrrr and Powerrr like throttle control or rather lack of it was put to good use making it's 2.0L engine work like it had never worked in it's 19 year life.

The act of balancing was soon shown and no, Ern did not balance a ball on the tip of his nose much to our dismay. Still, it was a comical sight to see 3 young people in an old car driving up a hill and releasing it to roll downards only to go back up and repeat the same process for a good 10 mins. Residents nearby must think we are nuts.

Now with my turn next i slowly but surely eased the throttle only to find that it was as sensitive as a racial offender. Back to the car. The steep slopes were no matc for this powerful engine and even now it could still tackle the hardest of them. Playing around with the car, i find that it does pack a punch. Gear changes are a bit tricky as the gear itself is indented to the right. More than often drivers will end up thinkin that the gear is in 4th whereas it's only at 2.

And what's a car review gonna be when there's no action. Suffice to say we saw plently of action that day but the best bit was where Boss skillfully mastered the car's balance and did a nice powerslide with the butt of the car sliding out when executing a downhill right hander. Superb stuff by the Boss. That's why she's called that.

At the end of the day, sitting together with some Twix bars in hand we gathered that the Corona was indeed a fun car to drive.Don't let its old exterior and very very innovative door handles put you off. With more than enough power and sophisticated handling ability this is one car to reckon and the next time we will be taking it to our new testing ground, home of the mighty al- ARDBA team, Ara Damansara. So with this old bombshell i bid you all goodnight.

*Names has been changed to protect the innocent.
** GearShaft does not approve of reckless driving and speeding as they both kill. Be responsible on the road and let the experts handle it.

Proton Savvy

Its been awhile I know. So here it is: A Car Review. No joke! Haha.

Last month I test-driven the AMT transmission Proton Savvy. Okay, fine, I know what you're thinking. That car looks crappy and Gen-2-ish, with almost no originality, save the exhaust placed in the middle of the rear. In order to give it a fair chance, just look at it without thinking about the Gen-2 (or that its made by Proton for that matter). It looks quite okay actually.

So I got into the driver's seat and closed the door. The door felt light. A little too light for a supposedly 'tough' car. Interior looks okay with plenty of head space. The 1.2L engine roared as I jack-rabbited the gas pedal. Shifted to D, and was on my way.

And I started to dislike the car as soon as the AMT transmission changed gears.

There was easily a 1-2 second lag between gears when you drive on D. It feels like an L Kancil driver stepping on the clutch while keeping the accelerator floored. Major waste of fuel.

I then tried manually shifting gears. The lag is less, but still evident. The plus side however is that the shifting is smoother compared to the Shift-tronic transmission of the Hyundai Sonata (which was quite jerky).

Since the transmission is manual based, you can squeeze all the juice of each gear and even enter the red if you want to. Can't do that on Shift-tronics.

But what on earth for? I might as well do that with a true manual and eliminate the lags. Or just try perfect shifting at 5.5k RPM (74hp).

More on the transmission system: It is tricky shifting from D to Neutral (and vice versa), reason being that you have to step on the brakes each time you intend to do so. What if you want to let the car roll downhill, then suddenly require an extra burst of power for... err... something... relatively... illegal? You would need to brake. **

Even more on the AMT: Because of the nature of the AMT, its quite hard to overtake. I struggled while attempting to overtake a Perodua Kelisa. All in all: It sucks.

And as for the 1.2L engine versus the 15-inch rim size, you can't do engine braking. The wheel circumference generates more torque than the engine's resistance. The car either needs smaller rims or a larger engine if it wants to maximize performance (and braking capabilities).

Brochure states: 0-100km/h in 14.4 seconds. Did not do a drag test, so I wouldn't know, but I highly doubt the figures.

Also stated: Top speed 170km/h. Didn't get there fast enough to prove it. Chances are, you never will unless you're on toll-free highways.*

Handling sucks. The steering wheel is relatively huge, feels like cheap plastic from a toy car, and needs some muscle to turn (for a power steering car).

However, you can powerslide quite easily since the car is quite low and that the AMT transmission has no gear restriction. It's light weight also contributes to this. Though if you really want to play drifter, I suggest you get a better and cheaper second hand MANUAL car.**

Verdict: get a Perodua Myvi. More comfortable & more powerful.

(Special thanks to Zero-7 for allowing Gearshaft to test his ride.)

Disclaimers:
* Gearshaft does not condone speeding. Drive below the speed limit. Bribes are costly.
** Gearshaft does not condone reckless driving. Drive safe. Tyres are expensive.

~ Also, love your cars. Don't wreck them like we do.

Double Birthday!!

Happy Bithday, Cherina!

Happy Birthday Ang!

Didn't manage to join Cherina's events. He really wanted what she had to offer.

“They are always anxious, these customers,” Linnie thought. The restless man stood right in front of her, waiting for her to begin her service.

“Okay, sir. May I have it, please?” she asked politely.

She bent down. With his towering figure overshadowing her, she flexed her hands, and commenced her duty.

Her experienced hands tore open the layers obstructing her from it. The man watched in awe. It was quick work.

“They like it done fast,” she thought again, smiling.

Once the layers were out of the way, she reached in, and there it was, resting in a corner, waiting eagerly for her smooth fair hand to liberate it from the dark, tight, confined pocket it was in. She caressed it, trying to get a firm grip. She then yanked it out and unfolded it in one swift move. She squeezed it…

….against the proof of purchase she had cut out, and stapled them together. Next, she passed the warranty card that she removed from the box to be filled by the man who was the proud owner of the new Samsung LCD monitor.

Geez. What we’re you people thinking?

I went to PC Fair again on Sunday. The night before, my old scanner broke down, so my dad decided to get a replacement. Got a Brothers hybrid scanner/printer/fax machine that has 4 separate ink tanks and offers a scanning resolution of up to….

…as much as I would like to call myself a techie (not a TREKKIE; don’t insult my intelligence), I have absolutely no interest in the specs of an office solutions hardware…

Just got it because we needed it and the hybrid was cheaper than a Canon standalone scanner. Nuff’ said.

While my parents went to the redemption counters, I dropped by the Samsung counter to visit Sue Lin. Her skill in doing the job has improved by leaps and bounds since Friday. I mean…. You know what? Why not you be the judge.

Task:
1. Cut off Proof of Purchase sticker from box.
2. Remove warranty card from inside of box
3. Reseal box.

(Task 1 to 3: 29 seconds)

4. (Not in video) Staple proof of purchase and warranty card and pass to the customer to be filled. This step took like only 3-4 seconds.

That’s Boss for you.

However the actually achieved 21 seconds for ALL FOUR STEPS! That left me gawking in awe, until i forgot to record it.

Oh, by the way...
She is soo gonna kill me when she reads this post. =s

Hope she uses the long, soft thing I bought her as stress relief. She admits that she enjoys squeezing it…

…there I go again….

…or perhaps its just you dirty-minded Gearshafters misinterpreting my words…

…I was talking about the Aquaria Killer Whale Beanie Soft Toy.

(This post may not be permanent, as the Queen may censor it, so consider yourself lucky if u manage to read it.)

Miss C & PC

On Friday after marketing tute & editorial meeting. Cough!*

Anyways…

Later, after saying goodbye to Miss C and Mandy, I went to PC Fair.

Jat & And accompanied me. I then Sue Lin whow as working at the Samsung redemption booth (Hall 5). Anyways, here’s what I bought:

Killer Whale Soft Toy – Aquaria (For Sue Lin)
USB Bluetooth (For Cherina)
50 DVD-Rs (For Janet & Rebecca)
2 audio jack adapters (For sis)
Ergonomic mouse pad (For Sue Lin)

Done! Next, the three of us walked to Sungei Wang. Yes. We walked. It was some distance, but it beats cramming into Putra during rush hour and taking an exchange train to get there.

What did we do there? Initial D!! Left for home at around 7.30pm. After my chores, I crashed (only 2 hours of sleep the previous night).

In case you were wondering why I did not buy anything for myself, the simple fact is that, I did not. There’s plenty of stuff there that I want, but I couldn’t think of anything I require. So…. Yahz. Ciaoz.

My Great 19th Birthday

At midnight, SMSes flooded in. My birthday has begun! Sue Lin asked me where I wanted to eat for lunch. As usual, the indecisive me replied ‘anywhere la’. Watched anime until 3.00am before turning in.

Woke up at 6.00am, did the usual routine, then drove to Monash. Slept in the car until 8.00, then went to the foyer. Soon later Akmal arrived. We went to the com lab as I wanted to print out my Marketing work……

Okay fine, shall skip the boring academic parts… teeheehee!

At noon when everything was done, met up with Ian. He gave me a present. We then headed for Pyramid. We then met up with Sue Lin & Ian had lunch at Jack’s Place.

Do not order the set lunch!” was the Boss’ first command. Err. Okay.

So these were the meals we ordered:

Escargots!!

Salmon steak (Sue Lin’s)

Lamb Chop (Dinesh’s)
[It’s a wonder he did not order Fish & Chips this time. It’s kind of his staple meal.]

Beef steak & fish (Mine)

And lastly was Ian’s lamb chop & fish, which looked similar to my dish, so did not snap a pic.

Sue Lin shuddered when the escargots arrived. Apparently, snail_lynn couldn’t stand snails. Anyways, we made her try one. She popped it into her mouth and kinda left it there.

"Chew, Sue Lin! Chew!” us guys went.
<br<>
Then, to my surprise, this came:

Yummy Pandan Cake

Awwwww, if I had no shame, I would have gone all goo goo gaa gaa and turn gay. Very thankful for these guys (and gal)

Dinesh then left us for Taylors, while I sent Ian & Sue Lin home. But wait a minute! Something was missing… THE PRESENT Ian gave me! I left it at the foyer!

*ashamed & embarrassed*

We dropped by uni to look for it, but to no avail; it was gone. Sobs.

Sue Lin felt sick (and she has a strong feeling that it was the escargots), so we stopped by Ian’s place so she could rest. Later when she woke up and was feeling better, I dropped her home, and headed home myself.

I reached home, changed, then headed to Ang’s place. Chee Weng was there already. The initial plan was to just go pasar malam. But after Kingsley, Jit Hoe & Jatesh had arrived...

Finally! I defeated Jatesh at downhill Irohazaka. His Subaru Impreza STi was no match for my Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution IV A-Tune. I went for a few more runs against Chee Weng & Ang. Adrian met up with us.

We were at Berjaya Times Square arcade, enjoying Initial D. =D

Dinnertime! Sushi King!

Yay! Well, I haven't been in the car mood for awhile... reason being that there hasn't been any new exciting cars to talk about recently (DBS from Casino Royale? Blek) ... plus haven't test driven any rides too. (the Proton Savvy is not worth mentioning for now... still under state of shock after experiencing its terrible drivetrain...)

SO lets shift the focus back to the EkEL, shall we? No? Then go somewhere else...

Owkay, shall explain my past two posts.. the Angel of Death post is REAL. A clown was giving away balloons to children, who obediently queued in line. A group of women talked about shampoos, disregarding this weird guy who walked past them. Then, I saw a familiar head.

The person wasn't facing me. I couldn't quite identify the person yet. Familiar, but from where?

Then it dawned on me.

My heart throbbed. A cold chill ran down my spine.

The person turned around.

I saw the face.

My heart stopped.

The initial throbbing was now replaced with a deep, sharp, cold pain in my chest. There was no heartbeat. I couldn't breathe. I felt like someone had stabbed me.

I held my chest, dropped my head. I opened my mouth to scream but I did not have any breath to do so. The pain was immense. And it was growing. My vision turned hazy.

"Oh no, I'm about to black out..."

*Cough!*

I inhaled deeply. Air! My heart started beating again, the pain slowly subsided. My mind cleared. I looked back up.

The person had disappeared. Standing in the person's place was a teenage girl with a shopping cart. I scanned around. No sign of the person anywhere. It was as if the person vanished into thin air.

I went directly to the car park, and drove home.

I can still feel the ache from the pain.

Reappearance....

Whoa, long time no write, nothing to write about also, especially nothing about cars. Exercise PC!

Lets admit it. Bumming in front of the PC is one of the laziest, least calorie burning activity. ‘Finger exercising’ just doesn’t quite justify it. As those community message ads on the radio & RTM says, we gotta go out and exercise regularly to keep fit & stay healthy.

Or do we?

Behold:-
I just placed a normal (and relatively cheap) exercise cycle in front of my good ol’ (quite literally ‘old’) PC. Now I can fulfil my electronic addiction and shed some pounds at the same time!

Here’s another shot:-

All I need to do is just rest myself on em’ handles, and I’ll be able to reach both the keyboard & mouse. As I kill off Imperials or the Dark Alin or [insert your favourite gaming foe here], I can keep track of the amount of calories burned, just like frag scores!

I understand. The PC is not solely a gaming machine. Don’t you just wanna shed some pounds while rushing an assignment?

For word processing tasks, or perhaps keyboard-reliant games such as O2 Jam!

Set up your very own Exercise PC up today! See the pounds, (and guilt) shed away while maintaining a high frag count!*

Talk about multi tasking. Teeheehee. =P

* Disclaimer: Results may be visible only after at least 20 DotA matches (or equivalent), depending on cycle speed. If result is unsatisfactory, replace cycle with treadmill and/or other health equipment. Gaming potency may vary.

(And yes my room IS messy.)

<link rel='alternate' type='text/html' href='http://gearshaft.blogspot.com/2006/06/new-exercise-pc.html' title='NEW! All in all, it was great. Later us guys went for our bachelor's party and we began the night....
.
..
...
....
.....
....
...
..
.
...and finally slumped at 4 AM (yes the above is censored, keke) while Ivan Teng & a few others went to watch World Cup.

The morning.. convoy! We went to Mun Leng's place (where the bridal shower for the girls took place last night) with 4 cars. The wedding car; A Gold Merc Kompressor (driven by Ronald), a Nissan Sentra (Joseph), a Volvo dunno-wad (Aaron), and a souped-up, riced-up Datsun 120y (Me).

Yes, i drove Ron's orange, yellow-flame-vinyled antique. It wasn't that bad really... tho it was kinda an eye opener when we were at the highway... Had difficulty shifting to Gear 5. That's when I realised that it was only a 4-speed manual. Yes kids, 4-speed transmissions do exist.

Reached Mun Leng's (the bride) place at around 9am. Gate locked, as usual.. and the girls at the other end.. evil girls...

Level 1 (Main Gate)
Girls' theory #1: Marriage brings many flavours. There's sweetness, as well as bitterness in it since no marriage is obstacle free.

Task #1: Prove that us bachelors can take it.

Substance #1: Bitter-gourd juice (Bitter)
Substance #2: Paddy Chilli (Spicy)
Substance #3: Lime juice with skin (Sour)
Substance #4: Orange concentrate (Sweet)
Substance #5: Soya sauce (Salty)

It was a terrible day for our tongues... were supposed to chug them all down. Few of us nearly barfed.

Comment: I'll never touch bitter gourd.. ever again.

Level 2 (Inner Gate)
Girls' Theory #2: You will do anything for her if you love her.

Task #2: Apply one wax tape to one leg for each bachelor.

Luckily in comparison my legs are rather.. erm.. feminine.. so it did not hurt as much (nor is it as obvious since there's not much hair to rip)... but sadly, I can't say the same for some of the others...

Comment: Girls are so barbaric when it comes to beauty.

Girls' Theory #3 (to Reuben): If you love her, you should be able to see her as someone special above all other girls.

Task #3: Reuben is given several questions about Mun Leng to be answered correctly. Also a napkin with many MANY lipstick marks. Reuben is to identify Mun Leng's one correctly. For each failed attempt, one bachelor of the girls' choice will have to apply TWO wax tapes.

My heart goes out to Ronald, Aaron, and Stephen....

Comment: Thank goodness for my park-cham kai (direct translation: White Chop Chicken) legs...

Level 3 (Bride's Room Door - FINAL LEVEL)
Girls' Theory #4: Lavish us with gifts

Task #4: Hand over the ceremonial suckling pig, and pay the door-fee which is stated by the girls.

Handed over the poor animal. Next up.. Fiona stated the price.
Door Fee: RM90
Concession at hand: RM250

Yay us! We even threw in an extra RM10 for fun.

Girls' theory #5: Listen to us.
Task #5: Reuben's supposed to fulfil Mun Leng's personal request.

Request: Sing a love song (Unchained Melody)

Reuben did. 4 times. Once solo, once with backups (somewhat), once at a relatively low key, and one whispered softly to Mun Leng (through the keyhole of the door).

Conclusive Comment: Can I NOT marry a Chinese?

Tea ceremony next.. then its off to church! (Datsun again) What next? Wedding ceremony lahs. I was the cameraman (not my camera, so no pics =P ) and then we had lunch. Then.. that's it. Haha. Owh ya! Vi Ling caught the boquet.. and blushed kao kao! Congrats! And for some reason, Reuben threw another boquet for the guys. Ivan caught that one.

(Another blog coverage for the event, my lovely cousin, Sharon's blog: http://esskay.blogdrive.com/archive/12.html ) [She's a Psych student!]

Owh ya.. my new Elle-Seven had cam whore session, but the pics are still in the cam and I gotta go study for bloody IT tommorrow.. so, next time lahz Su Ann. ;)

Bye!

Elle-Seven

Finally...
After 4 years...
At 06-06-06...
The Sagem X-5d...
is finally replaced with...
The Motorolla L7 SLVR!

Been eyeing it for ages. I had murtabak, King had some mee+rojak substance and cendol, and Ang had a humble roti planta. Next, PWTC.

Luckily for us, student rates are only available on weekdays (RM5 instead of teh usual RM20, wee!). After obtaining our tickets, we went to the expo entrace; which is ironically one of PWTC's exit. WTF? Well, apparently, we're supposed to cross a bridge (there's a river) to go to the 1st two showrooms on another building. Fine. Oh bdw, it was raining heavily.

Hall 1:
YES! KLIM06! I SEE A FERARRI F1! OOO! THERE'S A 1.6 PROTON WAJA CAMPRO!!!

Wait a minute.

Proton?!??!

Yep. Yes the first car was a Ferrari F1, used to promote Bridgestone's Potenza tires (same as the one I've seen in 1U not long ago). Then the next visible booth is indeed Proton's (with Lotus, which they own). Waja Campro, Gen2 R3, Savvy R3, Lotus Elise, and a few other Lotus cars (forgot). Then the next one was... forgot who's as well, but they had lorries. Yes, lorries. Kia booth, various cars, more lorries. (Wasn't too interested)

Hall 2:
Okay now we're talking. Nissans. 2006 350Z Coupe, Nismo 350Z (sweet!), several other standard issue Nissans. Don't have the one shown on Epi 1 of Top Gear Season 8 tho. =P

Brabus, with it's various Mercs, no SLR. Hyundai, with the new Coupe, Getz, Tuscon, etc etc etc. Some audio system stand, with a sweet-looking pickup truck issue boombox system.

Various, various. A crashed crash-test Savvy (Ang took a pic; for Jat... hehe). Various, various.

Sorry that I'm not being specific. I have no pictures, so.. haha. If u want them, can try at LowYat.net. I'm sure they have plenty.

Hall 3:
Back at PWTC. Pergeot. 206cc, 407, etc etc. But what really caught my eye (and King's) was the 307cc, a convertible. It's freaking sweet!!!!! I want THAT car. Hehe. Gooogle it for the image. =P

Mitsubishi, its winning rally car, new Lancer, Evo IX, etc. Mazda MX-5, 6, 5 , but no RX-8. Weird. Perodua with Myvi Sport, Rally Myvi, and other cars.

2nd floor, Concept cars!!! Volvo, with its C70 & 3CC concept car, and freeplay of their X-Box game (played for like 15 mins). Toyota with it's Sportivo, CS&S, and PM concept cars. Ford with it's 4Trac concept. YES! I had fun here!

Hall 4:
Only two manufacturers: Honda with its Mega-huge stage and Merc. Honda had it's FCX, Sports4 (S4) and Civic Modulo concepts. SWEEET! Not as sweet as the 307cc tho, mainly because it is more accessible. =P

We then later stayed to watch the Asimo presentation. The robot itself was impressive, but the presentation's script was horrible:

Honda Chick 1: What can you do Assimo?
Assimo (Voice probably from some British Council kid): I can walk up the stairs. Do you want to see?
Honda Chick 2:Yes please, Assimo.
*Assimo walks*
Honda Chicks: Waaaaaauuuuu...
*Assimo arrives at top of stairs*
Honda Chick 3: That is really impressive Assimo.
Assimo: Why but of course. Thatnks to my creators at Honda.......

The entire 15 minute show was like one of those 'Let's Learn English!' shows by TV Pendidikan...

Merc: Finally, the McLaren SLR... 7 million... *swallows tongue*
Oh, various other Mercs too, including a toy mobile car version (not the colectible model version) for kids selling at Rm2k.

Talk about spoilt brats.

Hall 5:
ALL Naza World cars.. the Pagani Zonda, Lambos, Ferraris, Porches, etc etc. The EXACT ones I've seen (and touched) during my free visits to Naza World.

Exit: Heavy rain. Very heavy rain. Ran to the LRT. My Merc poster turned to pulp. Sobs.

Journey Home: Drove King's Hyundai Coupe FX.

Verdict: Pergeot 307CC.... I want.

If you want pics, go to forums like lowyat.net. They'll have pics taken with SLR cams... haha. Better than Ang's HP cam. ;) ciaoz

P.S. Kingsley mutilated his hair. =S

Here on request -- linnie

Nothing to say about cars except that I want a Murano too in the near future but that is freaking impossible so its okay so I'll just settle sitting in it every now and then and that isn't at all that often. Well, here goes:

Went for buffet steamboat with Ian and Sue Lin three weeks ago. Darn nice! I mean, it's all-you-can-eat seafood for only RM18 per pax! we took like.. 10 plates worth of stuff, and stuffed ourselves (yes, I tried to use a pun).

Next up, NAZA World. What's there to report? Two Lambos, one SLR, several Porches, and a Naza Sutera...

Naza what? LOL. Its the new compact car Naza launched. 1.1L SOHC, and terrible as hell. The design is nice and all, but the body felt... thin.

Next, we made our way to the 2nd showroom with two umbrellas. Heavy rain. Got wet asses by the time we got there. Heheh. But it was worth it. Saw the new Rav4 (Sue Lin's fav!). No key required. Button ignition. Sweet. Though the size has grown rather huge from the previous generation.

Then there's the new Toyota Estima. A masterpiece I tell you. There's so much of room in the car that one "can even have sex in here!". (Sue Lin, 2006, Quote)

Not implying that you can't have sex in any other car, but this is one where you can reach paradise comfortably (unless your one of those kinky people who likes cramped spaces)

Also saw the 2.8L Skyline GT-R34... sad case tho.. price increased from RM224k (few months ago) to RM310k. Haiz.

We then hopped to Proton to checkout the Savvy and Gen2, and lastly made our way to Honda to check out the new Civic (Ian test driven it too!)

OK that's abt it i guess. Yes its old news, but at least its news. =P Will catch up on my bloggings. Till next time. Ciaoz.
Oh ya, Su Ann, it's really nice of you to constantly post on our comments blog. Sealed with a cheque! My family's 3rd car will be a Perodua Myvi!

EIther green or red (sister's choice, it's for her anyway), it will be the 1.3SX model. 1.3L 4-cylinder DOHC DVVT engine (That's more powerful compared to mine!!) with max power of 64kW, and 116Nm torque. Transmission: 5-Speed Manual. YES. MANUAL. Wee!

Alloy rims with no spoiler and no airbag (another RM3000 for those), it's once again a mimimalist car specification (like mine). The specs so far are quite okay. The only thing I dislike about Peroduas is that they have what they dub "Mechanically operated parking brakes". What on earth is this you ask? Is it good? Well, imagine a bicyle. Yes. THOSE brakes. Cable brakes.

Oh ya, this spec also has no ABS.

Update: Dad upgraded the order. It's now the SXi version!!! Woo! Means it now has spoiler, dual SRS airbags, and ABS with EBD!!! YAY!!! The drawback is that it's RM3k more expensive, and 10kg heavier. Managable... =D

At Last...

And no...at last doesn't refer to my absence in posting(which I haven't been doing in quite a while) but rather the fact that I was given a chance to cruise down the highway in one really good car. Now I know I have blogged bout that particular car before but that was before I really got a chance to test it out. And now here I am to give the latest, unbiased, never before told review of the Nissan 350Z or also called the Fairlady.

Now the first thing noticeable with the car is it's looks. And boy has it changed from it's previous predecessor. While the 300ZX looked very much like a Supra with a flat butt, the 350Z looks like an absolute stunner. Now part of the reason why the Fairlady looks so much fatter and bulkier(which isn't nessesarily a bad thing) than the older series is because is beacuse they were designed particularly for the American market and the ideal American car is as you may know is a huge fat car resembling a sofa.

Now the Fairlady wasn't just designed for the Americans, it was also designed in America. More specifically in California. Home of the Palm Springs, gays and 6 lane boulevards. And that's great except we don't have any of them here. What we have is a measly 3 lane, forever traffic-jam roads and mamaks.

Well to be honest i think that it looks beautiful. And it should because it's a Japanese car designed in America. And the head of the whole project is an Indian, born in London. And the engine is a similar design to a French based company that has ties with Nissan. So we've had fusion food before but right here is an example of a fusion car. Think of it as cheese sushi with curry sauce served on french crossiants.

And it's not that you can concentrate on the car because of the sound from the stereo. It's more of the pulsating feel you get from the Bose sub-woofer located at the back of the driver's seat. So if you're the type of person who likes to cruise down Bangsar with the stereo on so loud that Martians can hear it, this is a good choice for you.

But somehow i'm more interested on how the car goes rather than how it looks. So i pointed it's nose down the the highways and headed north. Now one of the best part of this car is it's engine. a 3.5L V6 turbocharged engine that gives 286bhp. Now if you don't know what it means, i'm not bothered to tell you cos i don't know how to explain it. But it layman terms, it's a pretty powerful engine. First of all there's the noise. As you accelerate you will tend to hear the enine revving up and the tiny blue speck in your rear view mirror that used to be a small Savvy will start to dissapear. The fairlady will go up to a top speed of 250kmh and boy i wasnt't gonna stick around to find that out. I'll just give it the benefit of the doubt.

And I've also noticed one thing. Most passer-by's tend to look and stare at this car more compared to a Porshe or a RX-8. And i'm not surprised because this car is defenitly more exclusive than any of the those cars. Now the comfort of this car is great. The seats seem to wrap around you giving u a safe feeling and the amount of leg room is ample for anyone under the height of 6'5".

The steering of this car is rather heavy. Compared to many modern cars you might feel that it may be a bit too heavy. But if it were light you will not expect to get any response from it. And you really do need response in a car like this. Just by sitting in it i can feel the confidence building. Overtaking is never a problem as the engine provides lots of ectra unused power.

However all is not a fairytale for this car. Sadly there are some faults too. Minor faults but nevertheless. For instance, praticality. Sad to say there aren't any because the car only seats 2. Now that's not really a bad thing because who wants a sports car that seats 4? That'll defeat the purpose. And then there's the boot. Now Nissan has proudly said that it'll fit 2 golf bags. And that scares me. Because it means that it's targeted to all middle-aged to elderly men with loads of cash that plays golf. And that's not exactly cool either so it's 2 points of for the practicality factor.

But then, nothing is ever perfect. The Fairlady manages to become a complete sports car with enough grunt to overlook the minor flaws and it handles just the way you want it to handle. An very good effort by Nissan to reawaken the legend of the Fairlady and yes, it has awoken in style.

Linnie here for more crap.

I sat in a a TOYOTA RAV4 yesterday.

Ok, so it was a 3 door Rav4 L, but a Rav4 nonetheless.

*swooooon*

And I was THIS close to driving it.
But just like the Nokia N70 from UK, I remembered I wouldn't be able to handle the costs if I ever damage them. It was supposed to be a movie trip, but due to the long indecision of 'certain' people, we missed the showtimes when we got to Summit USJ.

So.. what did we do then? Ice cream, shopping, and ARCADE! woot! Oh ya, also had ramen during tea-time. We actually wanted to take minipics, but the sole machine that can accomodate us all happen to not work. Ish. Too bad my parents brought the Exilim to Bali, or else I could have snapped some. Oh well, next time then.

Oh ya, also had a short drag race with Vi Ling's Kelisa. The initial pickup was freakin' fast. She overtook me initially. Initially. =P

On the way back, raced with yet another car. It was a white Mirage. Quite challenging, as both cars are short (easy to squeeze into lanes).
Reminded me of the race I had with a Vitara last week. But the Mirage's driver is really good. He entered pockets that I didn't even consider. Verdict? I got home with no victory. LOL.

I shoudl cut back on the accel pedal. I already consumed half of my fuel tank within two days. Not good. That's enough for 3-4 days. What did I do on Monday? Tested the limits of my car again, from KLIA to Uni.

Fellowship is fun. =D

Useless information. Woo...so classy.

*I want a Jag now!*

Never used to think Jags are pretty coz like the Volvo their designs were stupidly box-y and wide. I left Janet's condo at 9.50pm, turning out towards Old Klang Road.

“Hmm, I think if I put my effort into it, I might be able to reach home by 10.15pm…” Then it was set.

Primary Objective: Reach home by 10.15pm.

“Which route should I take? Should I follow the lengths of OKR before turning off?” I took a left turn. “Or should I take an early turning off and use Kesas/Sungai Besi instead?” The Nissan Sentra in front was slow. I veered left, trying to overtake. There were Malay food stalls to the left.

“Malay food stalls?” Wait a minute. There SHOULDN’T be Malay food stalls along this route…

Oh, craps. That’s when I realized that I took a wrong turning and entered a Malay residential area.

I navigated through the maze of turnings and junctions, only to find that I have been heading the wrong direction; NPE Sunway was in sight.

“Craps!”

So I turned towards Puchong, via LDP, my normal route home FROM uni, my CD player blasting my Initial D Eurobeat selection.

“This is a mega-huge detour” I looked at my watch. 10.08pm. Look’s like 10.15pm’s out of the possibility range. Guess I’ll go for 10.30pm.

Primary Objective (Revised): Reach home by 10.30pm

Passed the tollgate, then sped through Puchong’s 2-lane road at around 130km/h. Praying that speedtraps weren’t placed.

Exited at Technology Park then took the sharp upward curve ramp to Cheras at 60km/h. Speed limit there was 40 km/h. At the apex of the turn, my tires screeched. Then I looked at the rearview mirror. A silver ricer Proton Wira with blue underglow neons. He was in the middle of the curve ramp’s 2 lanes. Obvious signs of speeding.

“Wanna play?”

I exited the ramp and flew to the fast lane, narrowly cutting through some cars. The Wira followed the suit.

“Bring it on.”

Secondary Objective: Win the ricer Wira (Blue neon)
Traffic Condition: Medium

I stepped on the gas, flying-lanes like nobody’s business, cutting between narrow spaces. The blue neon was out of sight.

“Good”

Then from the slow lane, he appeared again, cutting towards the fast lane. I stepped again, and cut into the slow lane at the uphill slope (near Makro Cheras). He did not follow this time. He chased from the fast lane. I cut several more cars and two lorries, changing lanes as if I own them, and finally I had a clear road ahead, now downhill, my engine was roaring and my car reached up to 140km/h. He flew to the slow lane, right behind my tail, as I overtake yet another car in yet another small opening and cut right back into the fast lane. He couldn’t fit into the gap. Haha.

“One more stretch”

He then came again behind me. And yet again I cut into an opening on the slow lane. He couldn’t fit again. LOL. However, my tires no longer feel secured to the ground. My brakes were heating up terribly.

“Craps. My brakes. And the tires are brand new.”

“Oh well, I’ll cut back on the gas for the next few trips (crossing fingers)”

Cut to the middle lane. Cut to the slow lane. Fly back towards fast lane, and finally, I flew to the slow lane, taking an exit turn towards home, while the blue neon, defeated, exited to the roundabout.

Secondary Objective: Achieved

GLOOONG!!

“What the?” My car tilted to the left and my steering wheel was shaking.

Because of the lack of grip (and the force of the turning), I skidded off the road and climbed the uneven curb!!!!!!

I turned the wheel hard and brought my car back down.

“Noouuu, my suspension!!”

Sighz. The remaining bits are a tad boring. But as I sped and turned into my house, I slammed the brakes while shifting into P.

Apparently, once again, my timing was wrong.

CRAKKK!

My gearbox. What else?

Damn.

Looked at my watch. 10.31pm. 1 minute off.

Primary Objective (Revised): Achieved (Acceptable error ratio)

The alignment’s definitely gone. However, I really REALLY hope the car doesn’t fall apart tomorrow.

Sorry, my dear.

THE UNTOLD STORIES

On that morning, I rolled down Puchong’s downhill at 130km/h or so, cutting through two cars. When the road turned uphill, I still had a healthy speed on my ride. However, there was a black Honda City in front, and a slow Kancil at the slow lane. I saw an opening, a small gap, at the right side of the City. I went for it. Both cars were at one point, neck to neck, on one single lane. The City honked, the gap was closing and he did not give way. Our sideview mirrors could have clashed. I turned off Overdrive floored the gas, and sped off the gap. The end.

Sue Lin came for like… only 2 minutes of IT in Organizations lecture today. The comical end.

Played loads of Initial D today. The happy end.

Went for Vivian’s surprise farewell party. She’s leaving for India next Monday. Good luck & have fun, Viv! The parting end.

Despite achieving the objective, my mom had already gone to bed. NOT a good sign. I’m gonna get it tomorrow…. The bad end >_<”

…and even more if the car fails to survive. The sad end. >_<”

I may die on the road one day. The Bitter End.

*drumroll*

harlooooooo.... It has been revered in so many books and films such as 2Fast2Furious and Initial D that it is considered in a class on it's own. And no, this is not a car that costs millions to own. In fact it is a car that reasonly affordable. The car...Nissan Skyline GT-R34. The Japanese equvialent of an American muscle car. And like every other American muscle car, the looks are nothing to rave about. It's basic square yet low design helps to keep drag down. It's some sort of a car that when you look at it you'll recognize it, but won't do a double take. However when you revv up the engine, it's a whole different story. A 2.6L 300bhp engine powers up the car which is 4WD. In a nutshell..it's a very strong car.

However, if you look back in the history of the Skyline you would notice that it was built not for racing. In fact, it started of as a humble family sedan. So why on Earth would you buy a car that was not originaly built for racing to race? It's like buying Alex Yoong when you want Alonso. What you need is a proper race car built with the intention to race.

The car in mind...the Nissan Fairlady 350Z. Started in 1959, it continued it's tradition of making sport coupe's till it's recent edition, the 2006 350Z. Sporting a new 3.5L 296bhp engine that can reach up to a top speed of 280kmh. This car was meant for speed. And the design of this car could be considered as a textbook style with a lots of imagination.

The looks of the car alone tells you that this car is something special. Compared to the looks of the dry and squared-off Skyline, the 350Z is the exact opposite. It oozes the cool factor and it's not just the looks that kill. If you were to go to a party and pull up in a Skyline, most people would say "Nice car...". But if you were to arrive in a 350Z, they'd say "............." and just stare at the car. In Malaysia itself the amount of Skylines almost quadruples the amount of 350Z. It's not because it's a limited edition car. It's because it's exclusive.

This is also one car that is to put it blandly; unisex. It doesn't matter if it's a girl or a guy driving it. Either way passerby's would just look at the car, then you and most probably give a sign of approval, " Cool car, i want one too". This is the type of car that causes pile-ups just beacuse drivers slow down to catch a glimpse of it.

All in all, i would say that if i were to choose between a Skyline and a 350Z, i'd have to say a 350Z. The Skyline is rather like a commoner's car whereas the Fairlady is exclusive. And being exclusive is what owning a cool sports car is about. However i am also not condeming the Skyline. If i were given one i would defend it to the hilt. But would i buy one? Nah...

Ern Li's 2 cents

Exclusive comes with a price. Literally. To me, looks are secondary. Sure, 350Z looks sleek, but somehow rather, it lacks intimidation to the uninitiated. The Skyline however, well, lets just say one doesn't need to know his rides to fear this one. It's obvious. It reeks and drips with the word 'Monster'.

It's the typical battle: Slow and powerful Orc versus light and swift Elf. On straights, it's generally slower that the 350Z due to its immense weight. But on conditions such as uphill or mountain roads, 350Z lags behind.

Practicality wise, it's more spacious and can carry more cargo. However handling may be an issue on stock Skylines since it is so huge.

If you're into messing with your ride, then the Skyline's just for you. It's engine block is one of the most durable motors in the world when heavily modified. Many aftermarket suppliers have produced "bolt on" upgrade kits for the GT-R to boost power output beyond the factory specification.

If u have the cash however, one can purchase a Nismo-tuned V-Spec Skyline GT-R34, which contains additional performance-enhancing modifications, and a slimmed body.

Then there's the 'Mother of All GT-Rs'; the Nismo Z-Tune Skyline GR-R34. This goliath boasts a 2.8L twin turbo engine with 500hp, racing pistons, connecting rods and camshaft and an upgraded ECU. However, there are only 20 of these in the world!

It is the last of it's kind though, as Infiniti has aqquired the GT-R range. The next generation would be a total revamp, and no longer share the 'Skyline' nameplate. Goodbye Skyline! Sob Sob.

So yeah, full steam ahead for the 350Z!

BAD WEEK (Ern Li)

Too much to list, so I'll just sum it up: 7 losses, 3 wins

My car has reached it's limit... The only con was: wallet

Later back home, I adjusted my hard disk partitions to increase performance. All went well until PartitionMagic crashed. Damn. It only holds 12GB of data, mostly large torrent downloads n some mp3s, but...

4GB of it is irreplacable personal data...

Videos...

NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!

There were videos of Edmund's gig, Mandy, Ausmat, SBS dudes, some 'confidential' videos (NO, not porn. But videos of the part of me you all shouldn't know... both for my sake n the involved parties. Also, videos that I was not supposed to have captured.) all... gone.. in a jumble of ones n zeroes.

Craaaap. I cried. They were THAT valuable to me.

I want those videos back. Hate PartitionMagic. And I hate the fragility of everything. Logical or Physical. Digital or Analogue. Both Mind and Soul. Me. Everything. Except Mr. Reaper.

Despite Red Box, I don't feel all that 'top of the world' this week. My outcry is mostly caused by 'certain people' that made me feel used and insignificant. Also, my bad past has been haunting me again. It is NOT just the data loss, LOL. That just adds up to the sadness.

Also: Back off my blog, SE. You can read, but that's all I'm allowing you to do.

Fuh, long (& sadistic) post. I need to cheer up.

I need some beer.

(By the way, Ian's review is coming up. He already has a draft entry.)

WHERE ARE THE REVIEWS?(Ern Li)

Hellouz, Ian's writing up on the car showdown review, so please b patient. It's Nissan Skyline GT-R34 vs Nissan Fairlady 350Z (In interest of fairness, both are stocks). In the meantime, my blog entry for this week.:

Wins:
1. I'm sure that day will come.. one day. *hint hint*

Uni pressure's a-comin'. Assignments. Will have to start sometime this week. Got 4 of em', all due by the end of the month. And i missed my very first work, tutorial work for IT in Org. Sob sob. Shameful me.

Went to Lowyat on Tuesday. Picked up a game, 8x Speed DVDRs (50 pcs for only RM50!!) and got some cables for free. How? Well, I passed the cash to the cashier, he took the cash, scanned the barcode, printed the receipt, and passed me the customer copy receipt, along with MY money! He didn't open the cash drawer at all! LOL. Guess he thought the cash in hand was my change. Oh well. Silly him.

Went Ikea for a mighty great birthday lunch on Thursday. Ian will post about that soon as well, so hold on to your horses! (He's got yummy pics too! :D )

Sat church was great! Had a 'troubling' guest speaker, LOL.

That's it for now. I'm off to take out several Mon Calamari Star Cruisers with my armada of Imperial Star Destroyers. White Nissan Sunny

Losses:
1. Gold Proton Perdana
2. Silver Proton Iswara

YES! I know I have been overdoing it this week, despite the price hike, and I shall try to cut back next week. I don't know what's wrong with me this week, after looking back... some of the stunts were pretty reckless...

I need to chill. Shouldn't drive by emotion. Do not want to be another Ronald Tan.

Maybe it's the effect of the 'research', or maybe it's just that I just wanna find something to rebel on as a substitute... but substitute to what? I even had the urge to start smoking on Friday. It may be caused by Initial D 4th Stage, but I think that it's just a small nudge, not the primary factor.

I need to resolve this before I kill myself.

On other news: Intial D 4th Stage & Xenosaga rocks! A PPC is NOT a PPF. I should have NOT recycled my Accounting books. Uni assignments are here. I love the RM366,000 Nissan Skyline GT-R 34 V-Spec in Naza (too bad it wasn't the Z-Tune). Today promises to be a superb show and I shall start of with a superb review.

The day started with lunch. Korean food to be precise. After a nice hot meal of beef and rice what better way than to review a Korean car.

The car in particular; SsangYong Stavic. This brute of a car is not what u might call a pleasing sight to the eyes. In fact the sight of it isnt pleasing at all. Imagine a box and a big fugly pointed nose put together and u'll get the image of a Stavic. Under it's extremely small hood lies a subtle 2.7 Diesel commonrail engine. Only that to power a car that weights 2.5 tons. Thats like getting a donkey to carry Zorro around. Indeed the power provided is very little. Handling wise the car is little better than a box with 4 wheels. Oh wait a minute... it is a box with 4 wheels.

Interior wise it does sit 7 people and the seats do come in leather. Seats that rotate around do make it convienent for passengers to indulge in some Mahjong lest the police comes to shave off their hair. And yes it does come with a CD player. Note..only A CD player...nothing more. And all that for a hefty RM198,000.

I could go on about the faults of this car but i have to say something nice about it. And there's where i hit a snag. There's nothing nice about it. All i can say is that if u want a 7 seater MPV that will ferry your kids to school and back and you can stand the looks, this is the box...oops i mean car for you.

With that out of my hair I can proceed to more important stuff. Something that will really brighten up my day. Venturing into Malaysia's biggest 'car mall' i stumbled upon what i thought was very very rare car.

PAGANI ZONDA C12-S
Undoubtly one of the most rarest supercars ever built with a limited production of only 15 produced, Malaysia has 1. As far as i know the only other Asian countries that have them are our ever friendly neighbours Singapore and the wealthy oil producing Brunei. That leaves 12 more out there and i'm sure that Britian has at least 2.

Anyways back to the Pagani Zonda. A monstrous brute of a car despite of it's fragile looks. Under it's hood it's powered by a 7.0L V12 Mercedes Benz AMG engine that's capable of producing 550bhp. In laymans terms, it'll kick ass. It'll go from 0-100 in 3.7 seconds. Even my granny's car takes longer than to to start.

Despite my pleas to the salesmen working there, their refusal to unlock the car stating it's only there to see and not to touch only increased my excitement to know that a Zonda was there. Ah well even if i do get to see one it's not like i get to drive it. The price of the car; USD 350,000. Blueballs....

Well it's now time to introduce our special guest star for today's show and who else it could be compared to our very own BOSS...

We find our BOSS (who has jusy obtained her P license) staring at the huge intimidating vehicle that she was about to drive. A black 2005 Toyota Hilux stood before her and all she could do was merely look with the eyes that says 'Must i?' only to be replied with repetitive nods from me and Ern.

Destination: Coffee Bean Sekysen 14
Objectives: Not to damage car (My car to be exact)

And so we went off to a slow start. And i mean slow. Taking about 5 mins just to adjust seats, steering wheel and mirrors we were finally on our way. A nice and easy start was soon followed by "Where's the brake pedal".

Heart stopped..."Where's the brake pedal????"OMG...coming back to terms giving the driver full support and confidence "WTH...That's not the right thing to say now..."

And we moved on with BOSS having finally located the very very important Brake Pedal. The journey was fast despite only having to go about 1km. In the end BOSS finally made it to sight of the destination. And with the objective reached she had won. The prize? A cup of coffee from Coffee Bean(mind you a cup of java from there cost RM10++)...

And with that I end my part of the show. Hope to see you all next time where i review the new Toyota Fortuner. Toddles...iczmage out.

1st Review (iczmage)

Well its a 2-0 score against Ern as both his target was not reached. Kudos for trying though. Well speaking of cruising on the way to and fro KLIA i've decided to to a bit of flashback.

Bout 8.30 in the morning and i was on a lesiure drive on the way back from the airport after sending my parents to the airport. So there i was just cruisng along when suddenly i noticed in my rear view mirror a black Toyota Camry. Inching it's way closer to the bumper of my or should i say my dad's SUV. So there i was behind the wheel of a fairly powerful car being tailgated my a 2.4L Toyota Camry and my first thought was like YES...something to lighten up my day.

Destination: Sunway Pyramid
Primary Objective: Shake off Toyota Camry
Secondary Objective: Reach Pyramid in 30 mins(inclusive of jams at the Tollbooths)

In order to increase my speed i as the gentleman allowed the Camry to slip pass me as i moved into the middle lane. I then moved back to the fast lane and immediately engaged my attack. From there onwards i floored the accelarator and the RPM's revving up to about 6000. The rush of adrenaline overwhelmed me as the car increased speed to about 160. But somehow the Camry still managed to stay infront of me.

So a little chase and catch up soon followed as i overtook him at about 170 from the middle lane but he fought back and soon overtook me as the road bottlenecked momentarily into 2 lanes.
The Camry was to lead until we reached the USJ highway toll as i bypassed him with the help of....SmartTag. The poor old sod only had Touch'n'Go.Hehe...

But soon the power of the heavy yet torquey Camry was soon breathing down my neck. At an average speed of about 170 the clock was also ticking. It was about 8.50 and i only had about 15 min to get to my destination. Pretty soon it was my exit and the Camry was still behind me and i was still not able to shake him off. Dem...

The exit ramp towards Summit finally arrived and the Camry shot past me as i made my way to the exit at a slow slow crawl of 60kmph. Alas my primary objective had not been reached but i still had my other objective to complete.

So with the clock moving ever so fast towards 9.05 i was stuck in a jam. Imagine a jam at 9.00..oh wait..it is Subang and jams are not uncommon. Carefully manuvering my dad's car i made my way to the backlanes of Sunway and sped of the the carpark. Arriving at exactly 9.03 at the car park i felt little consolation as my primary obj was not met.

Thinking only of the brute power that the Camry had almost overpowered my car i was wondering how good is the Camry actually? Well that's somethin that I'll mention to my producers to see if we can get a Camry to test.

And about my day? Well the immigration at Pusat Bandar Damansara took forever to get my passport ready. And i went at 8...Malaysian immigration...dem them...And with that the show has come to an end and as i bid you farewell our ever so attentive host Ern Li is right now talking to our Boss askin for more budget to make our ever new and lame show more...rich...

COMMERCIAL BRAKE (Ern Li)

This mornin' I cruised to KLIA, and dropped my dad off. A pretty boring drive you may say, since my dad's there n all, so havta follow speed limits, stay 20 metres away from the car upfront n so on. But once he was dropped off, at around, 7.00 AM, the fun began. LOL. Time to head off to Uni!

Destination: Monash University Malaysia
Primary objective: 160 KM/H (50KMH above speed limit)

At the fast lane, speed increased up to 130KM/H, then a Gold Proton Perdana tailgated me. There was an overhead bridge up front which is quite prone to shelter speedtraps, so I gave way, dropped to 110KM/H and he sped past me. Drove past the overhead bridge. No speedtrap today. Oh well, better to be safe than sorry. Next up, revenge.

Secondary Objective: Gold Proton Perdana (tailgate)

I cut back into the fast lane, and floored it. The Perdana was in my sight only around 100-150 metres ahead of me, and the gap was closing.
130KM/H...
140KM/H...
150KM/H...

I was nearing my primary objective. Yes! And as for the Perdana, it increased in speed, but I was still gaining.
60 metres... (assumption)
30 metres...
20 metres...

The RPM was high, and so was my excitement. I'm almost there... just a liiitle bit more....

A flash of aqua blue from the left!

WTH?! It was a freaking Proton Iswara, overtaking a slower car in front, and it cut into the fast lane, between me and MY prey! It was at around 120KM/H, and I was at 155KH/H!! Flashed my headlights. No response.

Released the accelerator. Freed my gear, then re-initiated, dragging down the speed of my car. 130KM/H.

Still too fast! I was at tailgate distance!

Sigh. Last resort. Used the brakes...

The Gold Perdana was lost in sight (as other cars began to take that opportunity to cut in), the Aqua Iswara was still in front of me (at the same darn speed, a red Perodua Kembara was now on my right, blocking all attempts to cut forward), and none of my objectives were achieved. Sob Sob.

In other news: Uni today sucked. Forgot to bring my phone as well. However, Sue Lin was wearing a white top and black jacket, followed by a white skirt with brightly coloured flowers! WOW! That's like.. sooo unlike our FIT Queen of Darkness. Too bad I didn't have a camera with me.

Yo!
